Topic: Business Advising

Discuss how members of the Business Private Business Advisory (part of JPMorgan Private Bank), advise private business owners and their families regarding business transitions.  They will discuss on topics such as whether planned or not, all businesses will eventually go through some type of transition (typically an ownership transfer to the children, or a monetization of the company) and how to advise the client on those types of transitions. How an individual can strategize on exiting a company and how to integrate business ownership into achieving the client’s long-term goals and objectives.

 

Ajit A. George, Executive Director, Senior Private Business Advisor

Ajit George is an Executive Director and member of J.P. Morgan Private Advisory, a cross-disciplinary group of over 100 global specialists who collaborate to deliver innovative and forward-thinking strategies, working closely with Private Bank Advisors to help clients make well-informed decisions and achieve their goals.

Ajit is part of the Private Business Advisory team, where he works developing content and strategies for business owners on issues such as mergers and acquisitions, corporate governance, pre-transaction planning and maintaining a legacy business over multiple generations.

Prior to joining J.P. Morgan in 2023, Ajit was a senior member of the Corporate Advisory Group at Brown Brothers Harriman, where he advised privately held businesses on mergers and acquisitions, raising capital, corporate investments and other strategic transactions. Before that, he worked in investment banking at Bank of America Merrill Lynch, covering technology, media and telecommunications clients.

Ajit received a B.Sc. from the Stern School of Business at New York University. He also holds an M.A. from Columbia University and an M.B.A. from the Kellogg School of Management at Northwestern University.

 

Jeffrey Bradke, Vice President Banker

Jeff Bradke is a Vice President and Banker at J.P. Morgan Private Bank. Jeff works closely with successful business owners, entrepreneurs and institutions across upstate New York who seek the brand reputation of one of the most well-respected financial organizations in the world. He serves as a conduit to the scale and resources of J.P. Morgan to address the many stages of their professional life cycles and personal financial journeys.

As the primary advisor for the relationship, Jeff coordinates a team of specialists that align with a client’s needs for trust and estate planning, esoteric investment opportunities, lending, and banking. He plays an impactful role in expanding J.P. Morgan’s visibility in the community and has built a reputation for his trusted guidance and follow-through on commitments.

Throughout a decade-long career in financial services, Jeff has worked with clients and firms that manage significant assets. He started his career at KPMG and later transitioned to a Finance and Treasury role at Chobani, where he advanced to the position of Senior Treasury Analyst. He joined J.P. Morgan Commercial Bank in 2018 and spent five years advising middle- market clients before segueing to the Private Bank.

Jeff earned a B.S. in Accounting at Fairfield University, where he served as captain of the men’s Division I golf team. He received an M.S. in Accounting from the State University of New York College, Old Westbury. He is a FINRA Series 7 and 66 registered representative. He is also certified in NY Life, Accident and Health Insurance.

Residents of Syracuse, Jeff and his wife, are happy to be raising their children, in her hometown. He enjoys golfing, attending athletic events at Syracuse University and spending time at his family’s summer home in Skaneateles Lake.
