She concentrates her practice in the areas of elder law, guardianships, planning for individuals with disabilities and estate and trust planning and administration.\n \n \n \nTopic: Ami will discuss asset preservation planning, including the Medicaid rules, transfer of assets, look back and penalty periods, the different rules for community based care and institutional care, spousal refusal and crisis planning.\n \n \n \n**One hour of Continuing Legal Education credit in the area of Professional Practice provided by Mackenzie Hughes LLP, a NYS CLE Accredited Provider, is available for attorneys who attend in person.
